Classical Concerts for Children
Tempo Tots inspire young people through workshops, projects and performance opportunities, whilst also learning, listening and embedding ideas from young people into its own core artistic vision. These interactive classical concerts have been especially designed for young children and are a really fun way to introduce children to the world of orchestral music, with creative and interactive story-telling and song.
The concert includes a musical performance followed by an interactive workshop, including singing, playing percussion and a chance to meet the musicians and see their instruments close up.

Music Therapy Sessions for Children and their Caregivers
At Tempo Tots we offer a variety of extracurricular activities from choirs to instrumental groups, to after school and holiday music fun clubs.
Individual, group and family work can be offered in schools and other community settings. Music therapy uses music to help children and adults to cope more effectively with their lives and with their difficulties.
Music therapy is an interactive, primarily non-verbal intervention where music is used creatively in a therapeutic setting. It is based on the belief that all people can respond to music despite impairment or injury. Trained music therapists use live music-making to work towards the individual’s potential and to help facilitate and promote communication, relationships and learning.
Classroom / Early Years Interactive Music Making Sessions
These 30-40 minute weekly classroom interactive music making sessions are linked into the Early Years music curriculum and ensure all pupils learn to sing and use their voices, to create and compose music on their own and with others.
Opportunity to learn a musical instrument, use technology appropriately and progress to the next level of musical excellence is our aim!
Music making sessions can be offered each week or for a selective period of 6-12 weeks, depending on your needs.
"The teachers and children are full of joy when they come back from their music sessions with you.
A huge thank you for investing so much time and effort in this wonderful enterprise.Thanking you for raising the status of Early Years music in the school."
